Please do not ride on the highways or bridge.

The local and state law enforcement is handing tickets out.

That can make for a bad day.


Park rules and regulations

It may sound like a lot of rules but most are common sense

See Park Office for updated Rules and Regulations

  •   Anyone ATV rider under 18 must wear a helmet.   

  •   No glass or alcoholic beverages in the Sand Dunes

  •   Visitors ride at their own risk

  •   Observe Park boundaries and fences 

  •   Vehicle owners are responsible for anyone operating their vehicles

  •   Park Hours 24 hours, 7 days a week

  •   Park entrance fee is $5.00 Day

  •   Armbands are Non Transferable

  •   Obey all signs entering and exiting park

  •   Stop to have ice-chests checked upon entering dunes

  •   No Firearms

  •   No Jumping on dunes without spotters present.

  •   No wheelies and/or doughnuts in Campground

  •   Violations subject to prosecution, eviction & impoundment of vehicles and property   

  •   All vehicles must be equipped with the required safety equipment

 

  • Required Equipment for all Vehicles Entering the Park

  •   Whip must be 10 feet in height from ground with flag

  •   Flag must be a solid color bright red or orange with no writing or art, size 6”x12” or larger

  •   Flag must be within 10” of the top of the whip.

 

  • Dune buggies, Jeeps, Trucks and Sports Utility Vehicles

  •  Roll bar: roll structure with sufficient strength to protect occupants

  •  Roll structure must be attached to frame

  •  Seats belts, One for each occupant of the vehicle

  •  (Five point harness suggested)

 

  • Night riding

  • Both head lights and tail lights are required

  •  Lights must be powered by the vehicle’s electrical system.

  •  Front light - white

  •  Rear light - red

Warring: Extreme Hazards !!

  •    Approach top of hills with caution watch for oncoming riders

  •  Beware of shifting dunes

  •    Approach drop-offs with caution

  •    Drive defensively

  •    Look out for hazards (well house, pipes, fences & so on)
